Parc Monceau, Paris, France | 150 SQM (completed in 2020) – in collaboration with Baya Studio
This 150 m2 family apartment standing at the heart of the French capital’s 8eme arrondissement was renovated and redesigned with profound respect for its traditional Parisian flair and Hausmannian architecture. In the spirit of that preservation, the chevron floor, the molded walls and ceilings, and the fireplace were left untouched except for the necessary restoration. The brightly-lit spaces are dominated by the color white, which in turn is contrasted by splashes of wood and other soft, natural colors. The touches of modern design blend seamlessly into the classical beauty of the space, a reminder of how the city of lights keeps reinventing itself without forgetting its past.
