BLAST FROM THE PAST

Arbanieh, Metn, Lebanon | 1,000 SQM land – 600 SQM

This old family house dates from approximately the year 1880, and has been passed down through the generations, the rhythmic succession of its old stone arches standing as a gateway to the past. Today, it is finally undergoing renovations in order to bring it back to life. The ongoing works seek to not only fully restore its two stories and preserve its original architectural elements, but also to modernize the space by integrating modern amenities, including AC, heating, new technical areas, and more, so that the house can once again welcome life within its walls. The site works were very complex and many challenges remain, but the final result will yield a traditional Lebanese home with a pool, a landscaped garden, a playroom, a wine room, and more; a thrilling new twist on timeless charm.
